Jen Jeffrey Billington is the author of hundreds of articles for news media and magazines during her ten years of journalism. She wrote about her life’s adventures in a weekly column for Chattanooga’s leading online news publication – as a southerner who moved to New York. After moving back to Chattanooga and learning how to live single, she took her readers along her journey in healing, growing, and gaining life’s wisdom, even during her dating her forever love. Jen also enjoyed interviewing people and writing over 300 profile pieces of Chattanooga’s most exciting people. She also wrote other assignments but had the most fun with her satirical column posing as an 80-year-old lady named Willie Mae, who had a hobby writing food reviews in the Chattanooga area. When Jen married her childhood friend and moved to her birthplace of Murray, Kentucky, Jen let the cat out of the bag. Readers learned it was, in fact, Jen Jeffrey who had written the comical stories of Willie Mae.
Jen enjoyed writing poetry and short stories when she was a child, but her ultimate dream would be to one day write books. Several attempts of writing quite a few books throughout the years, yet life never affording the time or commitment to complete them, Jen finally finished her first memoir about a life-changing event in her life.
Breadcrumbs – Finding True Love’s Path is a book God put on her heart as He took her on several life-learning journeys to her true heart’s desire. Doesn’t everyone want true love? How do you find it? Once Jen learned these answers, she was compelled to share these truths with readers.
Please look for her memoir to be published in the fall of 2022.
When Jen moved to Kentucky, she was fascinated by the scenic barns, local agriculture, and vast empty fields – which made for beautiful sunrise and sunset photos. She loved her new surroundings with horses and wildlife, which prompted her to self-publish the following books simply for her pleasure. However, the birding book featuring the whimsical personalities of several birds she had named, that book was requested by a few friends.
Switching gears from her former journalism path (and her new hobbies), Jen has currently written her first memoir to be published in 2022.
